How does the Hazard Perception part work?

If you have never seen this before, don't worry, there is a tutorial video first. The test has 14  video clips (each lasting about 1 minute) that will assess your ability to spot developing hazards. The hazards featured in the clips might include other vehicles, pedestrians, vulnerable road users or differing road conditions. You must respond by clicking the mouse as soon as you see a hazard developing that would make you - the driver - take some action, for example change speed or direction. This test is graded on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the top mark for the clip. The earlier you spot a developing hazard and click, the higher the score, the later you click, the lower the score. The current pass mark for this test is 44 out of 75.

Both parts of the test must be passed in the same sitting.
